Dr. Labib Mikhail
Was born in Egypt on July 23, 1920. During his lifetime, he served as a journalist, counselor, and television and radio speaker. He is the author of more than eighty books in Arabic, English, and Spanish. He wrote on the most important issues of our time and God has used his books to bring many people to the kingdom of Jesus Christ.
Dr. Mikhail held a B.A. in Journalism, and an M.A. and Th.D in Theology from the International Bible Institute and Seminary. He extensively studied the writings and theology of the famous Egyptian theologian of the Scriptures, the fourth century Saint Athanasius of Alexandria, who helped to clarify the early doctrines of the Christian Church.
He was the President of the General Bible Baptist Council in Egypt for five years. He was professor of Homiletics, Psychology, and Church History at Faith Mission Bible College in Cairo, Egypt, for three years. He preached to thousands in evangelistic campaigns throughout the major cities of Egypt and Lebanon, and also in Baghdad, Iraq; London, England; and Germany.
He lectured in many seminars and conferences in the United States of America, Canada, and in Jerusalem, Israel.
Prior to moving to the United States in 1973, Dr. Mikhail founded and pastored churches in Egypt for thirty-four years. Dr. Mikhail pastored Evangelical Bible Church in Fairfax, Virginia, for ten years. He retired in December 1992 to devote his time to writing. The motivation behind his writing is to help believers to deepen their relationship with Jesus Christ, and experience peace, joy and a victorious life.
